I’m Sarah and I’m the photographer behind my small Yorkshire based business.
My favourite thing in life is making other people happy, by creating lasting memories of your family and children – yep, I actually do love my job! My second favourite thing is singing as loudly as possible to 90’s classics with my daughter (much to my husband’s despair).
My newborn baby & family photography studio is based in Steeton; a small town between Skipton & Keighley, not too far from Leeds and Bradford in West Yorkshire. I am passionate about creating clean and timeless portraits, whether that be newborn baby photography, maternity photography or family & children’s portraits – my aim is to make something special for you, so you can enjoy it for years to come.
Not forgetting fellow local businesses, I also offer headshot photography and business branding sessions – perfect for other businesses, small or large, to update their marketing materials.
With a long history working as a photographer (almost 20 years now, eeek!), I have a relaxed and friendly approach to my work; I’ve become pretty good at getting people to relax within minutes of walking through my door, so whether you’re really excited about your shoot, or you’re dreading getting in front of the camera, you’ll always feel at ease once you’ve met me.
After deciding to start my business 9 years ago, not long after my daughter was born, I eventually got brave enough to leave my day job as a medical photographer, to pursue my business full time. Being a medical photographer in the past, I’ve seen some pretty interesting things and I’m sure I could tell you a story or two (if you’re not squeamish that is!).
Because I value every part of your family story, I offer quite a few different types of sessions to suit where you are in your life. Whilst many of my sessions take place in my studio, we can also head outdoors if your children need the space to have a run around.
The experience I offer is key to my business and being a perfectionist by nature means that I always strive to offer you just that – a great experience.
I look forward to hearing from you!
I’d love to talk to you
