Your session starts with a few timeless portraits, followed by the smash – where we bring the cake in and let your little one dive into it – and finishing off with a ‘splash‘ – a clean up in a tub of bubbles!

My studio is in Steeton, West Yorkshire, and specialises in newborn and baby photography for your family.

Pricing
Your £30 non-refundable session fee is payable upon booking to secure your session. This session fee covers your time in the studio and is not deducted from your package.
You don’t need to decide which package you’d like until your viewing & ordering appointment.
*Our Rhythm Time offer includes a FREE 10×8″ print from your session. To claim your free print, you must attend both your session and viewing & ordering appointment (which takes place around 2 weeks after your session) and place an order for at least our minimum package – the Little Smasher package.

What does a Cake SMASH SESSION include?
We start the session with a few timeless & neutral portraits of your baby, followed by your baby tasting and smashing their cake and finishing with a splash in my little tub!
Your session fee does not include digital images, prints or products; these are selected at your viewing & ordering appointment 2 to 3 weeks after your session.
DO YOU PROVIDE THE CAKE?
Aimee and I have designed 3 different cakes for you to choose from for your session that will work perfectly for your baby’s smash. The choices are ‘the drip cake’, ‘the full buttercream’ and ‘the semi-naked’, all of which are a 6 inch round vanilla sponge cake and can be ordered in the colour scheme of your choice (please discuss cake options with me prior to ordering your cake, so I can show you the options and we can ensure it is in keeping with your set). Aimee’s cakes are priced from £30. Of course, if you would like something different than the recommended cakes, please fee free to discuss this with Aimee for a personalised quote. Please mention Sarah Walton Photography upon ordering your cake and place your order with at least 2 weeks notice wherever possible.
